The Opportunity
Be a key player in an ambitious new business, planning to develop the untapped British Home Battery market, enabling homeowners to immediately reduce their electricity costs by two thirds and build an annual sales volume exceeding £100K over the next 3 years.
Currently, Home Batteries are an extremely niche product in Britain, with less than 1% of the country’s 27 million homes having a battery installed, providing enormous long-term growth potential.  As such, our client is providing a fantastic opportunity to represent a Bloomberg Tier1 supplier of Lithium Iron Phosphate ‘all in one’ domestic battery systems.
Be a part of delivering the company’s “A battery for every home” strategy, by providing a high-quality battery system with cutting-edge technology, on a par with Tesla Powerwall, at an affordable price, with a high return on investment. This strategy is fully supported by the UK Government, who have waived VAT on Home Batteries, as part of their renewable energy programme.
Our client has engaged a top digital marketer to support direct sales, by promoting the brand and educating the market. So that consumers understand that Home Batteries do not necessarily require a solar panel installation and can be installed as standalone units. Delivering immediate benefits and providing consumers with a simple, low-cost option to ‘going green’.
The product you will be promoting supports a “DIY fight back on high electricity costs” in a tough economy, by enabling customers to utilise off-peak electricity prices to power their house all day and even sell electricity back to the grid at a premium price during periods of peak grid demand. Enabling the grid to better balance demand as more renewables are brought online.
Our client has identified the fastest route to market as partnering with wholesale electrical distributors and specialist solar suppliers. To deliver this strategy will require selling into wholesale organizations, and are establishing a responsive supply chain and distribution hub to support their ambitious growth plans
The Role
As an Independent Business Owner (IBO) you get the best of both worlds, the freedom of being your own boss, combined with team support so you are not alone.
As an entrepreneurial minded high commission Direct Sales executive, you will earn up to 30% of the sales margins of all units sold in your territory. Giving you a significant stake in the successful growth of the company and the opportunity to build a very high income.
As a business executive, you will be pitching a ‘premium economy’ offer, backed by huge financial investment with massive growth potential.
The sales role encompasses two strands:
Selling into wholesale businesses to get the product on the shelf. Managing all stake holders and quality requirements to win approvals. This will involve understanding customer needs and handling any queries or objections with confidence. And will include negotiating service agreements and ongoing contract management to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Account managing local wholesale branches and building strong relationships. This will involve regular visits to branches in your territory and educating their frontline sales teams on the benefits of Home Batteries, providing product training to wholesalers and installers alike. Also leading promotional events and providing the first line of customer support.
Both these strands will require good problem-solving skills, the ability to follow the sales process diligently and maintain CRM records.
